  理查德・D・诺布尔:博士,美国国家科学基金会膜应用科学和技术产业和大学合作研究中心主任,艾尔弗雷德和贝蒂讲座教授。1968年美国斯蒂文斯理工学院获工学学士学位;1969年美国斯蒂文斯理工学院获工学硕士学位;1976年美国加利福尼亚大学戴维斯分校获博士学位。从事液膜在气体分离上的应用研究,开发了一种仪器,用于测量离子液体中的溶度和扩散性;微孔氧化铝和不锈钢管合成沸石膜研究,并开展对气体、蒸汽和汽化渗透的研究,以及液晶化载体促进传递膜的研究等。1994年获美国化学会科罗拉多分会奖;1995年获工程学院优秀研究奖;1996年取得日本工业技术协会外国研究员基金;2001年入选美国化学工程师学会会员。
